With the chilly nights we’ve been having I’ve been enjoying a nice hot meal from my slow cooker. Trying to keep the budget down as the holidays are upon us so I am going for recipes with minimal ingredients. Because cranberry sauce has been on sale in most stores this time of year and to make good use of it I am making my favorite cranberry meatballs tonight.
Don’t forget the slow cooker liners are a must for minimal clean up or saving those leftovers.

Reynolds Kitchens Slow Cooker Liners, Regular (Fits 3-8 Quarts), 6 Count
Recipe:
You do not have to make your own meatballs for this one. If you need to save some time you can grab any frozen bag of meatballs that you like.
I had a little extra time so I made my own with ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, bread crumbs, grated parmesan cheese and 1 egg. Mixed it all together and browned each side before putting in the slow cooker.
After placing the meatballs in the slow cooker I added
1 14 oz can cranberry sauce- either jellied or whole cranberry will do
14oz sweet chilli sauce
3/4 packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp of chili powder.
Enjoy!
