Stop eating out! Take a second and write down or think about how much you spend dining or getting take away. Too much right? If my family of five dines out for dinner one time, that amount is slightly less than the amount I spend on grocery shopping for the week! Stopping and getting your coffee before work every morning? Invest in a travel mug or to go hot cups and make your own at home. Lunch? Pack it! If you don’t like sandwiches, make a great salad or last nights dinner leftovers. Dinner? Trust me most nights getting home so late there is nothing more that I’d love than to grab something out and not have to get everyone’s plates filled. For me, the crock pot is my saving grace.
