Let’s face it, fast food seems quick and easy, but don’t you just not feel so great after eating it? Was it worth it? For us, it just doesn’t quite agree with us all the time and most importantly it’s just not in my budget right now. I am forever short on time, but most of my daily recipes are quick and painless. So for our quick and easy meal for tomorrows night dinner I am making sliders.
I grabbed mini brioche rolls from Aldi, but you can always use a dinner roll or Hawaiian rolls depending on your preference or what you have in your home. I have Natures Promise ground beef in my house right now, but use what you have. I just season with salt, pepper, garlic powder and a little paprika. Mix gently and form patties the approx size of the bun you are using, they will shrink a bit during the cooking process. I use my griddle and give a good cook on both sides then pop in the oven to cook the middle to achieve a medium well interior. If you want you can add cheese the last minute it is in there. Bacon if you have some already made? Or any toppings you like or have left in the fridge.
I’ll make with some tater tots from Aldi, cook in oven, or use air fryer if you like.
On the side we will have a spring mix salad that I will add in chopped walnuts, dried cranberries and some crumbled feta cheese. Use dressing of your choice, we just squeeze some lemon and add olive oil and mix well.
