Loving using the crockpot on these cold winter days. It just gives that nice aroma in the house all day and by the time the rest of the family come home they have a nice hot meal. I am just using ingredients I have left in the house so I will make a garlic honey chicken recipe we enjoy. Remember use these liners for an easy cleanup! https://amzn.to/4hwIBKt
My recipe-but tweak to how you and your family would enjoy:
Place chicken in crockpot, then mix together in mixing bowl with whisk ingredients below. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high 2-3 hours. Chicken temp should be 165 degrees. Once you’ve reached this temp remove chicken and let cool a little. Add cornstarch to the liquid in crockpot, cover, put on high for about 15 minutes for sauce to thicken. Now shred your chicken I have this https://amzn.to/4jBc4oz but you can also use 2 forks just the same! Then place shredded chicken back in crockpot. I personally will be serving this with 90 second basmati rice I purchased from Aldi and steamed broccoli. I will sprinkle some sesame seeds over it, but only if you have in your pantry. Thinly sliced green onion will also make it look fancy if you have that on hand. If you try this recipe I hope you enjoy!
